Dr. Masoud Mohajeri is a professional engineer with 32 years of experience in research, design, and management of heavy civil and infrastructure engineering projects. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo, completed his first post-doctoral fellowship at the Port and Airport Research Institute in Japan, and a second post-doctoral fellowship at the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention in Japan. Dr. Mohajeri has been involved in the design, construction, and project management of over 300 dams, airports, roads, high-rise towers, pipelines, and bridges. He has also completed several thousand residential, commercial, and industrial projects in British Columbia and Alberta. His track record is consistently delivering highly technical solutions and quality projects on schedule and within budget, minimizing potential risks for clients. He is an internationally registered Project Management Professional and a qualified project manager. His project management expertise includes scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communications, risk, and procurement management. He is currently the principal and president of Arya Engineering Inc. and Caspian Shoring and Piling Inc., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and provides engineering and project management services in Western Canada. He founded MMI Academy to transfer his knowledge and experience to candidates who are willing to start a project management role.
